Today, in professional swimming, the constant pursuit of performance relies on limiting the resistance encountered by swimmers in the water, a phenomenon called drag. Two principal aspects are responsible for reducing the drag: the swimmer’s skills and technique, and the use of specific swimsuits designed to reduce the friction and increase the muscular efficiency. The purpose of our work is to develop a new swimsuit for the Olympic Games of Pekin in 2008. Here are a few images of our work in progress.
